Job Description
About the Role
Build the cloud platform powering smart home devices, industrial sensors, and connected vehicles — all running MediaTek's chipsets. Process 50,000+ device events per second.
What You Will Build
Device management microservices: OTA firmware updates, device shadow/twin, provisioning APIs
Real-time telemetry ingestion pipeline (Kafka + Flink)
Rule engine for device automation (smart home if-this-then-that logic)
REST and MQTT APIs consumed by OEM customers
Cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and Helm for Kubernetes
Required Qualifications
2+ years backend development experience
Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in production
Understanding of IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, or WebSocket
Docker and Kubernetes experience
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with embedded Linux or device-side firmware concepts
AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification

Salary: 65,000–85,000 TWD/month
Annual bonus: 2–4 months
