Overview The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) supports international students who want to learn Mandarin Chinese at a language center attached to a Taiwanese university. No degree enrollment required — designed purely for Chinese language learning. Coverage • Monthly stipend: 25,000 TWD (does NOT cover language center tuition) • Duration: 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months • Health insurance enrollment assistance Note: Language center tuition (approximately 30,000–50,000 TWD per semester) must be paid separately.
