Overview NTU's premier merit scholarship for outstanding international graduate students. No separate application needed — your admission application is automatically considered. Supports approximately 300–400 students per intake year. Award Levels • Full Award (100% tuition waiver): Top 5% of applicants — typically GPA 3.8+, IELTS 7.5+, strong research publications • Partial Award (50% tuition waiver): Approximately 15% of admitted international students Eligibility • Must be admitted to an NTU Master's or PhD program • Minimum undergraduate GPA: 3.5/4.0 • English: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 minimum • Strong statement of purpose with clear research direction • 2+ strong recommendation letters from academic supervisors What Strengthens Your Application • Published or submitted research papers (strongest differentiator) • Email correspondence with an NTU faculty member willing to supervise you • Clear alignment between your interests and current NTU faculty projects • International academic competition awards Renewal: Maintain GPA above 3.3/4.0 (Full) or 3.0/4.0 (Partial) + remain full-time enrolled.
