Among the most prestigious and comprehensive school-based scholarships in Taiwan, designed to recruit the very best STEM talent from developing nations. Approximately 40–60 awards per intake year. Most recipients rank in the top 5% of their undergraduate class.
Full Coverage
• 100% tuition waiver for full degree
• University dormitory fee waiver (~5,500–7,000 TWD/month)
• Monthly living allowance: 15,000 TWD/month (12 months/year)
• One-time settlement allowance: 15,000 TWD
• Total estimated value over 2-year Master's: 600,000–700,000 TWD

Eligibility
• GPA 3.5/4.0 or above
• IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 minimum
• National of ASEAN, South Asian, East African, or other developing nation
• Research output strongly preferred: papers, conference presentations, or patents
• A faculty member at NTHU willing to supervise is essentially required
